Groups/Support Groups

Why join a group/support group?

Life brings every one of us a storm of one sort or another. One of God’s greatest gifts to us in the midst of the storm is a gift of each other. We offer community groups and support groups so that nobody will have to walk alone, suffer alone, grieve alone, or struggle alone. Through it all, we experience the goodness and grace of God … together.

Get Connected Summer 2018 lists all Fair Haven happenings for kids through adults, including classes, groups, and volunteer opportunities!

  • +More and Better

In John:10:10 (MSG),  Jesus promises …real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.  We are designed for more. God created us with passion, precision and purpose.  He made us for something bigger and better.  He wants our lives to be filled with confidence, significance, joy and relationship.

God made us to contribute to His work of restoring this world and bringing in His Kingdom, but the enemy seeks to thwart us through the lies of culture.  More and Better seeks to expose the lies that obscure God’s intent and helps reveal His design for your life.

Classes are held on Mondays from 6:30-8:00pm in room 306/308 (enter Door B).

Our Fall 2018 Session begins on September 10. For more information and to register, click here.

The following is a listing of additional adult opportunities, including groups and support groups that meet at various times during the week. You may also check out classes being offered at Fair Haven.

  • +Breaking Bread Groups

Breaking Bread is a small group opportunity for individuals or families attending Fair Haven to get to know each other on a more personal level. Every three months, groups consisting of three households will be connected and will coordinate where and when they will meet over the next three months. Each group will have a volunteer lead who will help coordinate and communicate to the group. We encourage each household within the group to rotate “hosting” once a month. You can choose to open up your home, meet at a local park or restaurant, go bowling, roller skating etc. Groups can decide if they want to meet and include children or have an adult night together. After three months, there will be a new opportunity to sign-up, and groups will be shuffled and reassigned. Sign up during the months of January, May, and September.
