Read the Jesus Scriptures for yourself, receive teaching and encouragement, and enjoy discussions with your classmates. This is YOUR opportunity to discover what Jesus desires for YOU!

Join us for Esther – It’s Tough Being a Woman. In this study, join Beth in a very personal examination of the Old Testament story of Esther as she peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story is to our lives today. If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed over-powering, this is the Bible study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther’s day, it’s tough today. This portion of God’s Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives. To register, click here.

  • +God’s Grand Story

Studying the Bible in the order in which events happened is fascinating! You will gain a new perspective as you read God’s Word chronologically. We are using F. LaGard Smith’s The Daily Bible, which blends stories and events that are found in more than one book of the Bible. Enjoy group discussion, receive Bible teaching, and be encouraged together!

Fall 2017:  The Exile and Restoration of Israel

Come discover the final chapters of the Old Testament. Delve into the lives of Jeremiah, Daniel, and Ezekiel during Israel’s Babylonian captivity. Then witness God’s deliverance as Israel returns to Jerusalem for the rebuilding of the temple, spiritual restoration, the story of Esther (in Persia), and Nehemiah’s rebuilding of the walls. Reading your Bible for 30 minutes per week will give you a perspective and understanding of the Old Testament’s final chapters like you’ve never experienced!

    Sundays, 10:45am, room 310/312, begins October 1

    Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00pm, room 310/312, begins October 4

The Word for Your Life/Lynnelle Pierce Bible Study, meeting Thursdays at 9:30am and 6:30pm in The Rock (enter Door L). Our fall study will begin on September 7.

In Ephesians 5:15, Paul says, “Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” What does living wisely mean? What better way to learn than from the man who asked God to be made wise and was granted it – SOLOMON. Join us as we do a verse-by-verse study of PROVERBS and seek God’s wisdom. We will also be looking at ROMANS — such a marvelous book to get to know Jesus better! No pre-registration is needed. All are welcome!
